The Hydraulic Mobile Crane C43 Operator skills programme is a QCTO-accredited qualification designed to equip learners with the technical skills required to safely operate a Hydraulic Mobile Crane C43. This crane is used for lifting, lowering, and moving loads in suspension within industrial and construction settings. The course covers essential aspects such as pre-start inspections, operational procedures, mobilisation and demobilisation, and compliance with safety regulations. It aligns with the Driven Machinery Regulations (DMR) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, ensuring that operators meet industry standards for safe crane operation.
The programme consists of five knowledge modules and six practical modules, completed over 53 days. Learners must have an NQF Level 3 qualification with Mathematical Literacy and be at least 18 years old, as per legal requirements. Participants will gain practical experience in crane operations, industrial communication, and an understanding of other crane types. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a QCTO-accredited Occupational Certificate, qualifying them as Hydraulic Mobile Crane C43 Operators ready for various industries.

NQF Level 3 with Mathematical Literacy
