The Hydraulic Mobile Crane C33 Operator skills programme is a QCTO-accredited qualification designed to equip learners with the essential skills to safely and effectively operate a Hydraulic Mobile Crane C33. This crane is specifically designed for lifting, lowering, and moving loads in suspension within industrial and construction environments. The course covers pre-start and operational checks, mobilisation and demobilisation procedures, and safe crane operation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including the Driven Machinery Regulations (DMR) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
This structured programme consists of five knowledge modules and six practical modules and can be completed in 53 days. Learners must hold an NQF Level 2 qualification with Mathematical Literacy and be at least 18 years old, as per regulatory requirements. Participants will gain hands-on experience in crane operations, industrial communication, and basic knowledge of other crane types. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a QCTO-accredited Occupational Certificate, qualifying them as Hydraulic Mobile Crane C33 Operators in various industries.
Entry Requirements:
NQF Level 2 with Mathematical Literacy (i.e. numeracy).
