The purpose of this course is to prepare learners to operate as Articulated Timber Truck Machine Operators.
Learners will be able to:
- Transport timber safely from the harvesting site to designated locations
- Plan and monitor timber transport operations
- Maintain articulated timber truck machinery
The programme ensures learners operate efficiently while complying with safety, environmental, quality, and productivity standards.
Entry Requirements
- Open entry (no formal prerequisites required)
- Valid driver’s licence recommended (especially heavy vehicles)
- Basic literacy and numeracy recommended
- Physically fit and capable of long driving hours
- Ability to work in outdoor and road-based environments
