The Counterbalanced Lift Truck F1 Driver skills programme is a QCTO-accredited training course designed to equip learners with the essential skills to operate a Counterbalanced Lift Truck F1 safely and efficiently. This lift truck is designed for lifting, lowering, storing, and retrieving loads of up to 3,000 kg, making it a critical piece of equipment in warehouses, logistics, and industrial environments.
The programme consists of six knowledge modules and five practical modules, completed over 25 days. Learners will gain a deep understanding of high-risk operational environments, the physics of momentum, and safe handling techniques. The course also includes effective communication training, essential for working in noisy industrial settings.
To enroll, learners must have an NQF Level 2 qualification with Mathematical Literacy and be at least 18 years old, in accordance with Driven Machinery Regulations (DMR) and Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.
Entry Requirements:
NQF Level 2 with Mathematical Literacy (i.e. numeracy).
