The purpose of this course is to prepare learners to operate as Grapple Skidder Machine Operators.
Learners will be able to:
- Skid (extract) timber using a grapple skidder
- Plan and monitor timber harvesting operations
- Maintain forestry harvesting machinery
The programme ensures learners operate efficiently while complying with safety, environmental, quality, and productivity standards.

- Basic literacy and numeracy recommended
- Physically fit for forestry operations
- Ability to work in outdoor and hazardous environments
